I’m Darcy Johnson and I am originally from Fort Collins, CO. I currently live in Portland, OR where I work as a mail ma’am for USPS and I love it! I’ve been involved in competitive team sports my whole life but really took to softball through high school and college. I ended up receiving a full ride scholarship to the College of Charleston in South Carolina to play softball. After college, I had the opportunity to play semi-pro softball for 6 years and ended up playing against nearly every National and Olympic team in the world.
After the glory days of softball I was really craving a competitive team sport. In 2008, I was nursing my knee after ACL surgery and went to watch a dodgeball match. I was hooked! I knew this was a sport I needed to get in to so I immediately joined a team in Portland and I’ve been loving it ever since.
I would say I have a decent arm, am a good catcher and really good at following directions from a leader on the court! Tell me what to do and I’ll do it!
