I’m Michelle “Shellay” Radley. I live in Averill Park, NY where I work as a car lot manager. I’ve always been active and into team sports. In my elementary school years I played dodgeball in gym class and in before-school programs, along with being a part of youth basketball leagues. I was a three-sport athlete in middle/high school and two-sport athlete in college. I played on school and traveling teams while competing all over the East Coast and as far as Canada.
After college I joined adult leagues for softball, and about four years ago a friend introduced me to the awesome sport of dodgeball. I started out playing in Rob “Hometown’s” dodgeball league and began devoting my time to the sport. I was later asked to be a part of Hometown’s travel team and we’ve competed together in multiple dodgeball tournaments. I enjoy introducing youth to dodgeball and I’m always looking for new people to come play.
I am a very competitive player. I love to be fast-paced and keep things interesting. My strengths are catching and covering my teammates. If I can grip the ball with my hand I have a heck of an arm otherwise I throw side arm.
I am looking forward to representing my country in the Dodgeball World Cup in England this April and hope to make everyone proud.
